I have used UPrinting for 5 years and LOVE them! Great customer service with real people on the phone! Tons of help for any prepress questions or issues I have. They give FREE proofs and as many as you need to get the job ready to go. (Vista Print charges for proofs) UPrinting has quick turnaround and GREAT quality. I am in LA so I just order online and save shipping by picking it up. The people in the Santa Monica Blvd. location are so nice too! I’m a jewelry designer so my printed materials are very important and I’ve always been delighted with how every job turned out. Once the printing of some rack cards had a printing error and they happily redid the whole thing. Highly recommend!

Can you say service…I mean OUTSTANDING service!!! I had to get pictures reproduced (250 of ’em) in short order.

Here’s how it went:
I found them on a google search on Thursday at 8pm. The site said “1 day turnaround” once proofed; I thought “yeah right”. So I clicked on “Chat with a live Rep, now” t inquire on this. The rep was helpful in that I asked the specific question that if I put in my order tonight could I have it by Monday on my doorstep? The rep said “yes”. So ok, I go ahead with my order.

Next day (Friday) I check the account online at 9am and it is already being proofed.

I check again later that day, around 4pm, and the account said “preparing to ship”. I thought “OMG!!! Are you serious??!!!”

Literally on Saturday at 10am, my doorbell rings and the postman is handing my box of 250 reproduced photos fromhttp://Printrunner.com. I open the box and the quality is outstanding, perfectly cut to size, print work is perfect and clear. All I can say is I AM SOLD!

This is the place to go if you need such things in a pinch. They meant what they said and literally delivered on time. Others I had checked said it would take 10 days in total. Oh, and I almost forgot…all that cost me $25!

Since the previous review, I’ve been working with the owner (see below), sending her my order number and pictures of my cards. Here’s the final email I got explaining the situation:

“Hello,

Our quality control department has checked the color density of your file. Please note that the change you see is normal in gang printing. We are a gang printer and therefore cannot match colors 100%. Please note we guarantee 85% match to your file. Each time colors could play up to 15%. Please visit our website and click on “terms of use” to see our color matching policy.

If you wish to update your files we can provide you with a discount code. Please let us know how you would like to proceed by creating a new problem message under this order.

Once again we apologize if this issue is causing you any inconvenience.

I appreciate that the GotPrint team messaged me, but the fact that they chalked up the faded colors to their “gang printer” is disappointing. I’m still (somewhat) satisfied with my cards, but this is definitely something to keep in mind if you want to order with them.

I was surprised at the review rating on here (which I saw AFTER I ordered of course, so I was a bit nervous to receive my “same day shipping” brochures), but when all 500 came right on time the next morning, perfectly printed and aligned, color dead on, great paper stock, etc… I felt compelled to write on their behalf.

This was my first order through them, and only because we needed a last minute order and they offer literally an “at your doorstep” option in less than 24 hrs. It got pricey to do so, but I found tons on online (and valid!) coupon codes that cut it down to reasonable ($93 off!).

My upload experience was similar to another review on here (thumbnail was distorted color wise), but I used their online chat thingy and talked to, *gasp!* a REAL person who helped me through step-by-step options for viewing and downloading the proof in different ways until I was comfortable with the result. That was the only glitch. Other than that, everything went perfectly (and even then- printing and bleeds and templates, yadda yadda, are a pain- slight bumps in the road are something I expect with every print shop at this point, so not worried there).

They were fabulous- I WILL use them again, happily. Seems like they’ve ironed out the kinks over the years so I’ll gladly take advantage of that 🙂 haha! Happy Printing everyone!

I have friends that live in Boston and they use 48hourPrint for their business and have for years. When I needed to get business cards for my consultants I contacted them and they provided the cards to me quickly and exactly how I wanted.

So I started using them for more work, like stationary, fliers, etc.

I now use them as my exclusive printing partner. *sometimes I have to go copy and print some things out in a pinch/emergency 🙂

One of my clients that I do design work for got some postcards printed here. Everyone was super friendly and the shipping was FAST. The prices are reasonable and I love that I’m supporting a Kansas-based business when I recommend them.

I find it laughable that some people complain about being sent emails, etc. It’s a business. If you are operating a business, wouldn’t you love to have the power to send out updates on your services all the time? Wouldn’t you love for your company/brand to be the first thing people think about when they think of your service or product?
http://Vistaprint.com is integral in branding/marketing my business. I have had people ask who I use and when I explain that it’s http://Vistaprint.com, they can’t believe an online company is responsible for the quality product I have on display. What you really need/want is someone to lay out your design, ensure compatibility, and require someone point out “things” that aren’t going to look good. If you want that, then stop taking the inexpensive way out and hire a printer for all of your printer needs.
http://Vistaprint.com serves its purpose. While they are far from perfect in specific areas, they are perfect for my needs.
Last point: If you’re getting married and want top of the line items for your special day, it may be a much better idea to go to a specific printer that deals solely on invitations. Yes, you’re going to pay more, but wouldn’t you rather go to a specialist than a general practitioner? It’s the same reason your GENERAL PRACTITIONER sends you to a specialist.

Moo is definitely the best company that deals with business cards, at least that I’ve dealt with. Nothing compared to VistaPrint, I’ve just tried the “free trial” and the cards came… I was shocked at the quality of work put into the cards for something that is FREE. – Not only did the cards come quickly, the expected arrival was set for the 1st of March and came in less than half the time – I’m also located in Canada. The cards are thick, nice and professional. I’d definitely be comfortable spending my money here.

It’s rare that I have such a great experience and give five stars.
